"Father, I was at your Healing Mass in Paris this last Thursday, at the parish of Saint Pierre du Gros Caillou. At the moment you prayed for me, you put your hand on my shoulder and asked me if I am a nun. I am indeed consecrated laity, an oblate of the Famille Myriam Bethléhem (www.famillemyriam.org). In my heart I asked for healing of my petite soeur Dominique, multiple sclerosis, and I am waiting to hear from her. I also asked that I be healed of a slipped disk that has been becoming more and more handicapping, no sleep and less and less movement in general, impeding my mission work. I had to be asked to regain my chair as I was so concentrated on what was happening to me: my leg and my back felt...different. Not wanting my imagination to be at work I sat down to pray for others. That night I slept without being disturbed by pain for the first time that I can remember. And the second night as well. I praise Jesus for the healing I have been given to experience AND for all the healing that I cannot see as well as all that He has healed in others!
