"My name is Max Dibbin and I've been paralyzed since June 1, 2006. I met with Father Suarez last nite at St. Bridget's church in Loves Park, IL. Father Suarez approached me with a smile that i'll not soon forget and asked me my situation. I explained that I had been thrown out of my Jeep in a car accident where I broke my spine. Father Suarez began to feel my spine and instantly stopped on the exact spot my spine had been broken...he looked in my eyes and told me "you will walk again"; he then moved to my leg, my right leg that i've always felt there is hope for movement due to a insignificant amout of muscle that still fires. He explained to me "you need to exercise this leg" which was amazing because I told him nothing about where my spine was broke or anything about my legs...no sooner than when he walked away my left leg began to move; this leg i've never been able to feel or ever thought i would ever get any motion out of. He later pulled me aside and started to feel my knee, he asked me "can you feel this?" at first I felt nothing but as he touched around it felt like 10,000 volts of electricity moving through my leg...
