"It was July 2, 2009- a floody and rainy day when Ftaher Fernando was giving a haeling mass at Ibarra Parish, Ibarra, Maasin City, Leyte. I was one of the many parishioners who atteended the mass adn hoping for total recivery of my ulcer, migrane and slip disk. Together wit h me are the Naquila's family other friends and Fr. Ernesto Sabandal III, our parish priest. Our place is 16 km away from Hiongos, Leyte Poblacion. Heavy rains, whippig winds and floods wwere the major obstacles we had encounteredin our way. We were very wet and almost carried by the flood as we crossed the bridge overflowed with water. I could not imagine the rough road that was deformed into its ore worst condition. Many vehicles of all type stagnate along the national highway going to and from Maasin City. River overflowed and sea water reverses its current flow. We were worried if the engine of our vehicles would also shutdown. I prayed silently that we could crossed and thanks God we able to do it. We arrived the heaing palce exactly exactly on the reaidng of the Psalm.We stayed at the Sacristy since the whole area of the church was fully occupied. After the mass, I ligned up together with other sick people in their wheelchair. I was amzed and could not believedhow Fr. Suarezable to heal the lamb, blind, people with cests and with cancers. One priest ordered us to close our eyes while Fr. Suares is healing us but I ignore the request beacause I want to see how Fr. Suares would heal me. As if I have little doubt in him. After the healing session Fr. was interviewed by a media man in the sacristy. From there I have seen also a man carrying a sick boy child waiting Fr. Suares. Fr. then prayed and touched the child.While he was prayng I got my lowbat cellphone and took him pictre for my simple intention of having a remembrance of his face. I did it twice because the ist shoot was too blurd.I almost trushed the ist one but we were in a hurry to go home to Hilongos, Leyte. I was not able to went home in my place since its already 8 pm and besides I have nothing to ride and its still raining.So Fr. Sabandal told me to stay in the convent. There I charge my cell, pray the rosary and opened the taken pictures in Maasin. I zommed in the ist shoot and serously observed it. I was so shocked, amazed cried heavily and my heart was trembling so fast.What I saw was the face of our Lord Jesus Christ healing the child. I realyy could not beleived....Early morning I showed the pictures to my friends, co teachers and students.They have common observation..They saw the face of JESUS CHRIST in the face of FR. FERNANDO SUARES. As I think Of it over and over , I have realized that God wants me to believed in him undoubtedly. It was God who is healig us and he uses FR. FERNANDO SUARES as his intstrument."
