"Last September (or around), I was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas, 4th stage. The CT Scan is there to prove it. The oncologist I was referred to an oncologist. He didn't want to do any treatment until he had an biopsy. Two days before I left for St.Luke's in Quezon, Father Suarez came to Christ the King Cathedral in Tagum City. I went to his healing mass and after the mass, I waited to meet him. But so many people were waiting to be touched by him. Father Suarez had said many times during his sermon that he wasn't the one healing, but Christ was only using him to do it. Not feeling strong enough to wait, I told my wife that if he is only an instrument, his assistant (a Canadian like me)could also do it in the name of Jesus-Christ. When I went for the biopsy, the cancer had gone and only a benign mass was left. God still wanted me to stay on earth and profess my faith. Thank you, Father! Thank you, his assistant!
